Our space

Our space has the tools and the room to build, construct and create, both small things and large. It is also where you will often meet other creative and knowledgeable people.

Map of our space

The space has two floors. Click the floor behind to switch, and a room to see what is in it.

Opening hours

We have an open evening once a week, when new lab members can also get an introduction to how entry and the routines work — see our calendar for the dates. If you want to come and go as you please, become a lab member; our membership page explains what that involves.

There are always one or more hosts on site on the open evenings — members who keep the space open, show you around and answer questions about becoming a member and what it means. They also introduce new lab members to the space and our routines.

Getting here

Our makerspace is in Ekebybruk, west of central Uppsala. The space is at ground level, and there is both paid and free parking nearby (see further down the page). We offer workspaces and storage for our lab members, and there are tools and machines for working on whatever you are making.

The pictures below show how to find our makerspace as you approach Ekebybruk 6M from Vänortsgatan.

Parking

There is both paid and free parking near the space. Here are the options.

Ekebybruk 6M (20 m — paid)

Right next to the space there is a paid car park: 10 kr per hour and 40 kr per day. You can pay with the MobilPark app, or by card in the machine.

By the Coop supermarket (300 m — 2 hours free)

Next to the Coop there is a car park where you can stay free of charge for two hours. As far as we have seen and experienced, no parking disc is required.
